SIG Group Meeting - Continuous Shooting
March 7, 2024 | 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Today’s cameras aren’t limited to continuous shooting at a mere 3-5 frames per second as they were a decade ago. Many current cameras can easily capture photos at 20-30 frames per second – or up to 120 fps in cropped mode. The CPS SIG meeting in March will explore all the new things you can do with these expanded continuous shooting capabilities and show you tricks for getting the best results at these frame rates. Action photography, multiple exposures, time-lapse, motion analysis, dynamic range optimization, and much more will be covered. You’ll learn the advantages and disadvantages of mechanical and electronic shutters, the “Jell-O” effect, and what we can expect in the future. After the presentation, we’ll break up into groups to share tips for working with Sony, Canon, Nikon, and other cameras.
