TITLE

From Camera to Showcase: Organize, Share & Sell Your Photos

DESCRIPTION

This two-hour session is designed for photographers who already create strong images and want to refine how they move from capture to presentation and sales. John Paganini will walk through a practical, Lightroom Classic–based workflow for organizing, culling, and preparing files with consistency and speed, including a look at the new AI-assisted culling tools and how they can complement—not replace—your own editorial eye. We’ll also cover using collections and export strategies to support both print and web output.

After the break, we’ll step into SmugMug and look at how to build polished galleries, connect Lightroom to SmugMug, and enable sales in a way that fits your existing practice. Topics will include simple, sensible pricing structures, options for offering downloads and prints, basic approaches to protecting your work, and ways to integrate SmugMug into your broader online presence. The emphasis throughout is on helping you streamline what you already do well, so your best photographs are easier to showcase, share, and sell.

BIOGRAPHY

John Paganini is a member of the Cleveland Photographic Society whose love of photography goes back to childhood, when a Kodak Instamatic prize in a family contest first sparked his interest in making pictures. Over a 40+ year career in information technology—including time in Rochester, NY, the hometown of Kodak – John has consistently embraced new imaging technologies, from his first digital Kodak DC280 camera to his current Canon R5.

His photography focuses on automotive subjects, and he runs Autovision Studios, a company dedicated to creating signature images for car enthusiasts and collectors. In addition to his photographic pursuits, John is deeply engaged with artificial intelligence, exploring, using and sharing knowledge on AI tools that enhance photographic workflows and  streamline operations. He believes we are in a pivotal moment where AI in photography is an active, evolving “photo partner” in the creative process – and one that offers exciting new possibilities for how we capture, refine, and share our images.
