Photography has been my passion since I received my first camera at age six. For 25 years, I focused on black and white film photography, finding joy in the darkroom’s creative process. In 1999, I transitioned to digital photography, which expanded my creative possibilities while maintaining my fine art foundation.
I love capturing urban landscapes, Americana, and travel scenes. Cities inspire me with their dynamic architecture, while Americana offers a nostalgic glimpse into the nation’s soul. Travel photography allows me to explore and understand different cultures.
Teaching photography has been a rewarding experience. I’ve mentored aspiring photographers at the University of Akron Adult Education program and presented to various photographic and arts groups. My work has been exhibited in galleries and art shows across Northeast Ohio, connecting with audiences and finding homes in public and private collections.
My photography is a celebration of life, capturing the extraordinary within the ordinary. It blends traditional techniques with modern innovations, creating a visual narrative that transcends time and place.
