General Information
CPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our club year runs from June through May.
As a member, you have been subscribed to our Weekly Snapshot newsletter, which keeps our members up to date on CPS activities.

Dues
Your annual membership dues can be processed via our website or via check. When your membership is about to expire, you will receive email reminders. To view your membership status, log into the website and visit Membership > Member Portal.
Meetings and Presentations
Most meetings are made available as livestreams on YouTube. Members-only presentations are typically live Zoom sessions that are also recorded and made available to members as on-demand presentations. Check out the Members Only section of the Member Portal to view past presentations.
Mentoring
This incredibly popular semi-annual program will match you up with a mentor of your choosing. Our seasoned mentoring volunteers take a small group of photographers under their wing and accompany them on hands-on shooting activities. Watch our calendar and the Weekly Snapshot for the next mentoring session!
Field Trips
Field trips are a core part of the CPS experience. Shoot in places you didn’t know existed or can’t access on your own, shoot side-by-side with seasoned photographers, learn from others and learn how to see things differently. Most events are free; when there’s a charge, we pass along only our actual costs. Check the calendar for upcoming events.
Competitions
The fastest way to improve your photographer is to compete! By participating in judged competitions, you’ll be on the fast track to gaining valuable insight into improving your technical and artistic skills. You can also see what our other members are creating and get inspired by their work!
Exhibits
Have you always dreamed of having your photos on display? Our exhibits committee is constantly looking for new places to showcase members’ work! Many exhibits have a particular theme, and spots are limited, so be sure to watch the Weekly Snapshot for upcoming exhibits.
Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of CPS. Every event, activity, and publication for CPS was created by one of our amazing volunteers. If you’re interested in helping keep the club running smoothly, check out our current volunteering opportunities
