DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE:  in case of inclement weather\, we will post a no
 tice with updated information on the CPS homepage no later than 8 am. Chec
 k back there if you have any questions.\nHome to a number of waterfowl\, w
 arblers and migratory birds\, Sandy Ridge has quickly become a go-to locat
 ion for bird and wildlife watchers in its brief history. We hope you’ll 
 join us there on Sunday\, April 16th at 9 am!\nThis morning\, we hope to s
 ee a variety of birds\, including a pair of nesting eagles visible from th
 e walkways\, while the upper reaches of the trees are still visible.\nWHO:
  This trip is open to EVERYONE\, no cost or the need for any advance notic
 e – simply join us if you can!\nWHAT: A chance to visit an active wildli
 fe and premier birding site.\nWHEN: Sunday\, April 16 from 9 am to 11 am\n
 WHERE: Sandy Ridge is a part of the Lorain County Metroparks and is locate
 d in North Ridgeville (about 45 minutes from the CPS clubroom).  Their ad
 dress is:  6195 Otten Road\, North Ridgeville\, 44039\nWe’ll meet at th
 e picnic pavilion by the main parking lot.\n\nBe aware the round trip from
  the parking lot and around the lakes is about 3 miles\, a flat\, even\, w
 ell groomed path.  Restrooms are available by the parking lot ONLY. There
  are several benches along the path.\n\nWHAT TO BRING:  Sturdy\, waterpro
 of shoes (in case of soggy trails)\, insect repellant\, binoculars\, a tri
 pod if you have one\, your longest lenses for best shooting (but come alon
 g even if you don’t have one)\, and most importantly - an interest in na
 ture and flying things!  In addition\, if you enjoy macro\, they will be 
 plenty of subjects.\nPlease note:  in the event of a heavy\, continuous d
 ownpour\, this trip will be canceled and re-scheduled. Keep an eye on the 
 homepage of the CPS website for any updates – any notice of cancellation
  will be posted no later than 8 am that day.\n\nThere is a diner nearby fo
