SUMMARY:Photojournalism Night (Projection)
DESCRIPTION:Photojournalism is the process of storytelling using the medium
  of photography as the main story telling device. While a journalist will 
 use a pen and paper to tell stories\, a photojournalist will use their cam
 era to capture the visual representation of a story. When submitting image
 s for Photojournalism nights\, members are asked to give a brief descripti
 on of their unique and powerful form of visual storytelling for their imag
 e. Members can submit up to 5 (five) images for the night.\n\nPhotojournal
 ism images should limit editing to cropping\, color balancing\, conversion
  to B&amp\;W and subtle dodging and burning. Adding or removing elements w
 ith any photo editing software is not permitted.\n\nThough not judged at t
 he time\, all photojournalism images uploaded for presentation become elig
 ible for submission to the End of the Year competition\, where they are ju
 dged against each other and one is chosen as Photojournalism Image of the 
 Year to hang on the back wall.\n\nNote that the submission deadline for al
 l Photojournalism nights is the Sunday evening\, 5 days in advance of the 
 night. Entries are to be submitted through ShutterScore.\n\nAll CPS member
 s in good standing can and are encouraged to enter Club competitions. For

 f the website. All are welcome to view the event live or at a later time o
 n our CPS YouTube channel but only members can submit images. Even if you 
 do not enter\, please plan to join us to see the beautiful images and hear
  the judge's comments.
