DESCRIPTION:\nJim Koepnick is a Digital Journalist and member of the Sigma 
 Ambassador team specializing in\naviation\, sports and documentary photogr
 aphy. His current freelance clients include Sigma\nlenses\, Flying Magazin
 e\, Plane and Pilot\, Air and Space Smithsonian\, Our Wisconsin Magazine\n
 and Cirrus aircraft. Local clients include Oshkosh Area Community Foundati
 on\, Discover\nOshkosh and Old Glory Honor Flight.\nPreviously\, Jim was C
 hief Photographer at the Experimental Aircraft Association for 28 years.\n
 He was responsible for much of EAA's air-to-air photography for its five p
 ublications. He has\nphotographed over 1000 aircraft while on air-to-air m
 issions and supplied over 550 cover\nimages while at EAA.\nKoepnick’s ar
 tistry\, skill and experience have resulted in award-winning images that h
 ave been\nprinted in magazines such as Life\, Time\, Men's Journal\, Peopl
 e and Popular Mechanics. His\nadvertising work includes Columbia Coffee\,
  Sigma lenses\, Daher aircraft\, Cirrus aircraft and\nCanon.\nHis photogra
 phy has has been a consistent winner of awards from Aviation Week and Spac
 e\nTechnology\, Wisconsin Imaging Photographers Association\, American Adv
 ertising Federation\nand Calendar Marketing Association. In 2012 he receiv
 ed the George Hall Lifetime\nAchievement award from the International Soci
 ety of Aviation Photographers. In 2023 he\nreceived a career achievement a
 ward from the International Photographic Council at the UN.
