- Digital photography file management and workflow
- Introduction to Adobe Bridge and the Photoshop CC workspace
- Using the powerful Camera RAW Editor on both RAW and JPG images
- Balancing Exposure and Color
- Layers made easy – understanding and using layers
- Layer Masks for easy photo alterations
- Blend modes for more control of your editing
- Basic Adjustments: brightness/ contrast, hue/ saturation and levels
- Selecting portions of your image with a variety of selection tools
- Removing unwanted parts of a photo - or adding something in!
- Cropping, sharpening and adjusting your image size
- Professional-looking retouching techniques
- Techniques to fix troublesome areas of your images
- Restoring old photos to look like new
- Tips and tricks to speed your workflow
- Constructive review and help with YOUR images
Course materials include over 450 pages of detailed notes with step-by-step instructions and numerous visuals as well as all the photos used in class

Course fees must be paid in full by the first class. Partial payments cannot be accepted. Registration includes a 4 month membership in the Cleveland Photographic Society. Refunds for withdrawal will be honored if they are requested by notifying the school director during the first week of class. A withdrawal fee of $10.00 will be deducted from the refund. The refunding process usually takes three to four weeks. Cleveland Photographic Society is a not for profit corporation and the purpose of these classes is to increase the understanding, interest and enjoyment of photography
