Membership
Membership in CPS is open to anyone with an interest in and a passion for photography as a hobby, an avocation or a vocation.
CPS members are photographers from all levels, - beginner, amateur, advanced amateur and professional. One of the best benefits of being part of CPS is the wealth of knowledge that members have about photography. In addition, people in the club are very open about sharing their knowledge with you; all you have to do is ask. Associate with accomplished, award-winning photographers whose interests and experience span everything from the traditional Nature and Pictorial categories to Creative, People, Fine Arts, Photojournailsm and Digital techniques, to name but a few. Participate in the print and projection competitions and learn from the judge's feedback. Join in the workshops and fieldtrips offered throughout the year. Receive our quarterly newsletter, The Darkroom Door.
Above all you get to share your love of photography with other photographers.
The annual dues for individual members are $54, couples $81, families (couple + one or more children) $117 and junior members (under 18) $36. Announcing a new category - Distance Membership! If you live more than 100 miles from the CPS clubroom, you can still affiliate with the Club, participate in competitions, post your images in the Member Gallery section of this website, post slide shows of your work on the Club's YouTube site and participate in the photostream and discussion threads of the Club's Flickr site. Cost for this membership category is $36 per year.
